These are the results of the women's épée team competition in fencing at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A total of 33 women from nine nations competed in this event. Competition took place in the Fencing Hall at the Helliniko Olympic Complex on August 20.
The team épée competition consisted of a three-round single-elimination bracket with a bronze medal match between the two semifinal losers and classification semifinals and finals for 5th to 8th places. However, the 2008 Games introduced a rotation of women's team fencing events with one weapon left off each Games; the individual event without a corresponding team event had the number of fencers per nation reduced to two.
