East Lake is one of the twin lakes that occupy part of the Newberry Crater or caldera in Central Oregon, United States. It is located in the Deschutes National Forest near the city of La Pine. The caldera was formed over 500,000 years ago from volcanic eruptions. East Lake's water comes from snow melt, rainfall, and hot springs only.

Lemolo Lake (ləmolo--Chinook Jargon for "wild" or "untamed") [1] is a small lake and reservoir in Douglas County, Oregon in the Umpqua National Forest 30 miles (48 km) north of Crater Lake National Park, on the North Umpqua River. It is part of the Diamond Lake Ranger district, and is administered by the United States Forest Service. [2]
The Malheur National Forest has several campgrounds in the Ochoco Mountains as well. The largest is the campground at Delintment Lake. [12] Antelope Flat Reservoir campground has 24 campsites surrounded by a scenic ponderosa pine forest. The reservoir is not visible from the campground, but it is only a 10-minute walk to the lake shore.
