Earl Manigault (September 7, 1944 – May 15, 1998) was an American street basketball player who was nicknamed "the Goat" or "the Lip". He is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players never to have played in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Leighton Keith Shervington was born in Saint Andrew Parish, Kingston, Jamaica, on 13 August 1950. [1] [2] [3] In 1966, at the age of 16, Shervington joined a band called The Presidents, leaving a year later to join The Hurricanes. He then moved on to join the showband Tomorrow's Children.
