On June 12, 2023, McDonald’s launched the vanilla and berry-flavored Grimace Birthday Shake with a rollout that depicted the voluptuous violet vamp in a bevy of birthday party scenes.
Grimace celebrates his birthday June 12, which means it's nearly time for the celebration of Grimace Shakes at McDonald's.

The first McDonald's location was opened by Richard and Maurice McDonald in San Bernardino, California in 1940 and demolished in 1972, although part of the sign remains. The oldest McDonald's still in operation is the third one built, in Downey, California, which opened in 1953.
