Magix would later discontinue VEGAS Movie Studio in 2021, in favor of the unrelated Magix Movie Studio. [3]
I switched to Vegas from both Premier and Final Cut Pro as Vegas was much more flexible, accepted many formats, required no rendering, and did simple editing and transitions much faster, i.e. fewer clicks or mouse moves.
