Yorkdale Shopping Centre is Toronto's first of its kind and was the world's largest shopping mall at the time of opening, [1] while Toronto Eaton Centre is the most visited shopping mall in North America. These five malls were completed within a 13-year span in the 1960s and 1970s.
During 2012–2013, the mall redeveloped over 45,000 sq ft (4,181 m 2) of land to add more stores and restaurants. They include many fast food restaurants, a Le Château Outlet, and another Chinese restaurant, named Congee Town. [6] In 2019, the mall underwent interior renovations to modernize the mall.

Westwood Square is a shopping centre located in the Malton neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario. The mall is located on Goreway Drive between Etude and Morning Star Drive, approximately 1.25 km west of Highway 427. [1] The mall is 425,000 sq ft (39,484 m 2).

Construction began in December 2012 to convert the Zellers store into a Target store, which opened March 25, 2013. Target Canada announced its closure of all its 133 stores in Canada (including the East York Town Centre location). In mid-2016, Thorncliffe Bowlerama closed down and was replaced with Fit4Less. The Etobicoke Civic Centre in the Eatonville neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, once housed the municipal government of the former City of Etobicoke. The building was built in 1958 by the firm Shore and Moffat [ 1 ] to replace the single storey brick Township of Etobicoke Municipal Hall at 4946 Dundas Street (now Fox and a Fiddle pub).
