The Clinton Journal is a twice-weekly newspaper that caters to readers in the town of Clinton, Illinois and its surrounding areas. [1] Originally known as the Daily Public, the Journal has been the major newspaper in Clinton since the mid-19th century. Its offices are now located at 111 S. Monroe Street, right off the downtown square.
Max Ray Brannon (December 22, 1933 – September 11, 2020) was an American politician in the state of Georgia. Brannon, a funeral director, founded (1967) and operated the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home in Calhoun, Georgia. He was also a probate court judge and a coroner for Gordon County, Georgia. [1]

East Fork Township is one of fifteen townships in Clinton County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 365 and it contained 227 housing units. [1] Its name changed to Morris on June 1, 1874 and then back to East Fork.
Clintonia Township is one of thirteen townships in DeWitt County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 7,315 and it contained 3,543 housing units. [2] Clintonia Township changed its name from Clinton Township June 7, 1859.
