Hazelwood Central High School is located at 15875 New Halls Ferry Road in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, adjacent to the current northeast boundary of Florissant. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The school is one of three high schools in Hazelwood School District (HSD), the others being Hazelwood East High School and Hazelwood West High School .
In 2004, Berkeley High School closed, replaced by McCluer South-Berkeley High School. [4] On December 8, 2010, the Board of Education named Dr. Art J. McCoy, II as Superintendent. He was the first African-American superintendent for the school district and at age 33 was one of the youngest in the state of Missouri and nation. [5]

Hazelwood School District (HSD) is a school district in suburban St. Louis, Missouri and is the second largest district in St. Louis County.The District extends from I-70 on the west and the I-270 bridge on the east, covering 78 square miles, an area larger than the City of St. Louis.
McCluer High School, located at 1896 South New Florissant Road, Florissant, Missouri, the school opened in 1957 as a junior high school as a part of the Ferguson Florissant School District. In 1962, when Ferguson High School closed, its students moved to McCluer; now McCluer Senior High School. McCluer's mascot is the Comets.

McCluer North High School (founded 1971) is a public school in Florissant, Missouri, United States in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The McCluer North campus is centrally located in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Located in a residential area, the campus is bounded by Waterford Drive, St. Catherine and Parker Road.
