Gas check. Cast bullets as cast (left), with gas check (center) and lubricated (right). A gas check is a gasket type component of firearms ammunition. Gas checks are used when non- jacketed bullets are used in high pressure cartridges. The use of a gas check inhibits the buildup of lead in the barrel and improves accuracy.
The 10mm Auto (also known as the 10×25mm, official C.I.P. nomenclature: 10 mm Auto, [ 7 ] official SAAMI nomenclature: 10mm Automatic) [ 8 ] is a powerful and versatile semi-automatic pistol cartridge introduced in 1983. Its design was adopted and later produced by ammunition manufacturer FFV Norma AB of Åmotfors, Sweden.
Cast bullet. An open single-cavity bullet mold and a closed two-cavity mold. A cast bullet is made by allowing molten metal to solidify in a mold. Bren Ten. The Bren Ten is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for 10mm Auto that was made by Dornaus & Dixon Enterprises Inc. from 1983 to 1986. While the Bren Ten's design has an appearance similar to the 9×19mm Parabellum CZ-75, it is larger and stronger with several unique design elements that make it a distinctly separate firearm.
