Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does ...
Indeed, I am. Indeed originates from the phrase in dede meaning "in fact, in truth." When you use the word indeed, you are underscoring that something is true. The word is also used when you want to introduce a point that's even truer than the last one you made. "Yes, I passed the test, and indeed, got the highest score in the class."
Yes. I got my last 3 jobs on Indeed. 200 applications is my average per job landed. I got a bunch of jobs on indeed I got like over 20 jobs in last two years but the current job I’m at, I got that job from going into indeed, clicking the company link they provided there and boom got the job. Not sure by swear by, but you should consider all outlets for jobs including Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, Glassdoor, etc. Also, depending on how desperate you are, Craigslist isn’t necessarily a terrible place to look for a job despite how sketchy it is. I got my first job through Craigslist; you can ask how that went if you want.
Beware of Realistic Indeed Scams. Job searching. I almost fell for a scam today. Last week I applied for a remote job via a post on indeed. The employer listed was a real company that I researched before applying. I received a text yesterday saying they would like to proceed with an online interview to further screen applicants.
Assessments are supposed to be on the bottom of the Indeed Profile (resume) page, but they were not there. Here's the fix - If the resume on your profile is a PDF doc (or other uploaded resume), convert it to an Indeed resume. Once you do this, the assessments section will appear on the bottom of your profile page.
I got this response: "There are now only two ratings for Indeed Assessments: Proficient and Completed. You'll no longer see scores like Expert or Highly Proficient in the USA. Don't worry, we've let employers know about this scoring change. They're aware that Proficient is the highest rating on any given assessment." Reply reply.
"Indeed" can start a sentence as either a conjunction or an interjection. As a conjunction, indeed provides emphasis or indicates that the sentence is an example of, or evidence for, a claim made in the previous sentence. As an interjection, indeed indicates surprise or sarcastic doubt. In this use, indeed is often the only word in the sentence.
I've gotten jobs through Indeed, but I never use my Indeed Resume—just a custom resume. I've gotten Messages and Interviews on Indeed, but it's very difficult, because we're competing with the hundreds of other Indeed users that apply, too. I feel like the response rate for me from highest to lowest would be the following, ZipRecruiter ...
