State Route 35 (SR 35) is a north–south state highway in East Tennessee. The 81.35 miles (130.92 km) long state highway traverses Blount, Sevier, a small portion of Jefferson, Cocke, and Greene Counties. Most of the route is a secret, or hidden designation, as it runs concurrently with U.S. Highways in the area.
The highway then widens to a 4-lane undivided highway and passes just southeast of downtown before leaving Gray and passing through Spurgeon, where it has an intersection with SR 36. SR 75 then crosses the South Fork Holston River into Sullivan County , just north of Boone Dam and Boone Lake .
The road begins in western Nashville (junction of Memphis–Bristol Highway and Charlotte Pike) and ends in Crossville (junction of West Avenue and Sparta Highway). It runs alongside Interstate 40 for its entire length. There are no "Tennessee 24" signs along the route, although the designation can be seen on the route's mile markers.
