The producers are still working on paving a new path forward for the 007 franchise after Daniel Craig left Bond behind following 2021's No Time to Die, his fifth and final movie in the role.
"With my 007 career spanning nearly 60 incredible years, I am stepping back from producing the James Bond films to focus on art and charitable projects," Wilson said in a statement.
Amazon acquired a vested interest in the Bond franchise when it acquired MGM and the rights to distribute the 007 movies in 2022, following the release of No Time to Die in 2021.
