Since his trade on the 27th September, Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A aka Dame Time has gained over 50,000+ followers just on his Instagram account since joining the Milwaukee Bucks, on the day of the trade itself he gained over 33,333 followers and the two days after that 23,029 and 10,061.
Lillard isn't even a better player than Cliff Robinson. If basketball players only needed to play offense, Lillard could be ranked much higher, maybe even at the top. But basketball players are responsible for playing both offense and defense, and Lillard simply can't do it. Drexler, Sabonis and Walton are all miles ahead of Lillard.

From the earliest days of July, Horst told Cronin their periodic conversations on Lillard had to stay secret -- or the Bucks would bail. Horst didn't want Holiday to become leverage for the Blazers in trade talks on Lillard elsewhere, which precluded Portland's ability to shop the possibility of Holiday's availability to those teams where he fit.

Damian Lillard: “The casuals won’t be addressed but the trailblazers fans and city of Portland that I love truly will be … and they will be addressed truthfully. Stay tuned Excited for my next chapter! @Bucks 🎟️”
Fast forward they trade for Damian Lillard & it puts ALOT of unfair championship pressure on rookie head coach Adrian Griffin IMO. He never stood a chance. I’m defending this move because the Bucks half-court offense has been ATROCIOUS in the playoffs and Dame would help so much with that. Dame wanting go to Miami was also important.
Damian Lillard in his Bucks debut: 39 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists Highest points ever for a Bucks player in a debut. Was insanely clutch in this close game - as a Bucks fan I couldn't be happier right now.
Whereas Lillard is the guy who just shows up everyday, does his shit, and everyone likes him because picks up the tab at team happy hours. His work might be a little less stellar (but not by much) but you know it'll get done on time and you free up 75% of your time to do other productive things. I'd much rather have Lillard.
It feels like every fan base understands what you laid out mostly aside from Celtics fans who somehow think Derrick White and KP will disrupt a Giannis/Lillard PnR. The bucks had the best defense in the league without Holiday and smoked the Celtics in a 5 game series.
