  2. what's up with intellicast/weather underground maps?! - Reddit

Remote_Win9476. • 7 mo. ago. I can tell all that is interested exactly what is going on with all computer generated weather maps and satellite systems from the United States in general. For years now most countries all over the world have been disliking the United States, and at this point today with all the wars going on while the United ...

I get so angry about this. Intellicast was the best weather and related information site ever. Then this piece of shit weather underground comes along and completely fucks it up. Graphics look like a child's coloring book. Half the time the map doesn't even work. I would like to BEAT the SHIT out of the person responsible for this clusterfuck.

  4. What happened to the intellicast maps? : r/weather - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/ahdvsj/what_happened_to_the_intellicast_maps

Intellicast Radar seemed to be the best radar out there- very accurate and could show weather conditions right down to the neighborhood if zooming in. Weather Underground is no comparison to the intellicast radar system, terrible, vague maps.,going from the college of radar maps to grade school.

  5. weatherunderground/intellicast radar maps do not update now!

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/164urln/weatherundergroundintellicast_radar...

The merger killed Intellicast. I suppose, in these days, if you want a good weather site you better be prepared to spend like $40 US a month! *IS* there a good weather site alternative for maps like radar, satellite, jet steam, and other "professional" weather maps?

  6. Intellicast shutting down : r/weather - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/a8pez0/intellicast_shutting_down

This sucks big time. I had all kinds of Intellicast 10-day hourly forecast links in descriptions for my hiking and tennis Meetup groups. Weather Underground is a terrible replacement. Their forecast pages are clunky, slow and almost useless.

For a while a site called hurricane-tracker.org had a link to the old intellicast radar/future radar but that has now been co-opted by weather underground also.....which sucks big time. Some"propeller heads" being controlled by some corporate bonehead that only see $ signs & could care less about whether or not their work (website) actually ...

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/qb554l/wunderground_has_gone_from_great_to...

Wunderground has gone from Great to Decent to Bearable to So Slow It's Unusable. I've been a Wunderground user for many years. IBM who purchased Weather Channel, Weather.com, and Wunderground.com few years back must have finally decided Wunderground.com is redundant and isn't worth keeping up anymore. It's been on a decline but during the last ...

  9. Intellicast Alternative : r/weather - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/dhbh2h/intellicast_alternative

To date, I have not found anything that is as good as Intellicast was and certainly Weather Underground did a good job of running it into the ground. When the announcement was originally made, I realized that Intellicast was more or less just a compilation of data pulled in from other sites. I found the direct links to the parts of the weather ...

  10. How many different sources of weather information do you know ......

    www.reddit.com/r/weather/comments/1d05hl/how_many_different_sources_of_weather...

There is a difference between sources of weather "data" and forecast websites. Unadulterated raw data in the United States mostly only comes from the National Weather Service. Calibrated and maintained observation stations, satellites, models, weather balloons are all NOAA/NWS. The Weather Channel uses all this data, along with in house models ...

  11. Weather website that isn't wunderground? : r/weather - Reddit

TigerBloodInMyVeins. This is the answer I needed! Will take some getting used to, but it's certainly the best thing I've seen out there. It loads instantly in comparison to wunderground. Clicking through 3 pages isn't so shitty when they take a combined 1 second to load.
