A Silent Film are an English alternative rock band [2] from Oxford.The band consists of Robert Stevenson (vocals/piano/guitar) and Spencer Walker (drums). [3] Their first album, The City That Sleeps, was released on 6 October 2008, [4] [5] with one reviewer describing it as "a surefire winner". [6]
The band toured the US in September and December 2010, then performed almost daily from March 10 through April 8, 2011 in support of the album. The latter run was as support for Civil Twilight . In July, A Silent Film did a mini-tour of the West Coast. [ 7 ]
