The fair board elected Rich Farmer and Andy James as co-promoters of the speedway in 2008. In 2010, Emods competed at the speedway for the first time ever. [3] The speedway has become a pioneer in dirt track racing over the years. It was one of the first tracks in the nation to run the now popular 305 sprint car division.
The International Motor Contest Association (IMCA} held their first national race at the track in 1951; the Big Cars (now Sprint cars) was won by Frank Luptow. [1] IMCA held a race at Belleville each year until 1960. [1] Ernie Derr won the 1960 IMCA race. [1] The final IMCA race was held at Belleville in 1968 and it was won by Ramo Stott. [1]

As of 2020, the track hosts Modifieds, 305 Sprint Cars, Sportsman, and Street Stock. The track is located on and a part of the Ontario County Fairgrounds. The track was the site where on August 9, 2014, NASCAR driver Tony Stewart collided with Kevin Ward, Jr., who was standing on track. Ward died from injuries sustained from the collision.
