Lake Eufaula, sometimes referred to as Eufaula Lake, is a reservoir in Oklahoma. It is located on the Canadian River, 27 mi (43 km) upstream from its confluence with the Arkansas River and near the town of Eufaula. The lake covers parts of McIntosh County, Pittsburg, Haskell and Okmulgee counties and drains 47,522 square miles (123,080 km 2).

The former Arrowhead State Park, now known as the Arrowhead Area at Lake Eufaula State Park [3] is a 2,200-acre (8.9 km 2) Oklahoma state park area located in northern Pittsburg County, Oklahoma on a peninsula of Eufaula Lake. It is located near the city of Canadian, Oklahoma. Eufaula is one of the largest man-made lakes in the southwest.
The following is a list of lakes in Oklahoma located entirely (or partially, as in the case of Lake Texoma) in the state. Swimming, fishing, and/or boating are permitted in some of these lakes, but not all.
Lake Eufaula State Park is a 2,853-acre (11.55 km 2) Oklahoma state park located in McIntosh County, Oklahoma on Lake Eufaula. It is 14 miles (23 km) southwest of Checotah. The park was formerly known as Fountainhead State Park. Fountainhead, together with the neighboring Arrowhead State Park, were created in 1965.
Eufaula is a city in and the county seat of McIntosh County, Oklahoma, United States. [5] The population was 2,813 at the 2010 census, an increase of 6.6 percent from 2,639 in 2000. [6] Eufaula is in the southern part of the county, 30 miles (48 km) north of McAlester and 32 miles (51 km) south of Muskogee. [7]
The CDP is in northern Pittsburg County, on the south side of the Canadian River and the inundation zone of Eufaula Lake. It is on the north side of Oklahoma State Highway 113, which leads west 2 miles (3 km) to Indianola and east 5 miles (8 km) to Canadian. McAlester, the Pittsburg county seat, is 20 miles (32 km) to the south via Highway 113.
Eufaula Dam is a dam across the Canadian River in Oklahoma. Completed in 1964, it impounds Eufaula Lake , one of the world's largest man-made lakes, covering 102,500 acres (41,500 hectares). The dam serves to provide flood control , water supply, navigation and hydroelectric power generation .
