Alexander Engström Interesting analysis. Leyers seem to have been very clever and analytical. So, if he got hold of the transmissions he figured out that Pino probably was a spy. But how he know the code name. Maybe they transmitted that over the radio. He knew the war was over for long so probably he was thinking of a way to get out of it.

WOW! I loved this and it made me cry. This was a biography written in a fiction novel format which sounds weird but I loved it! Pino Lella was an amazing human and I feel so privileged to be able to read his story. I wish there were more WW2 stories of everyday people written like this.
