Roosevelt sometimes gets lost in the shuffle, since there are so many wonderful schools in the Chicago area. I will say that for your intention, it is a great idea not to amass too much debt as an undergraduate since those career plans all require very expensive graduate schools.

The article on the link below was written by a student who had just completed her freshman year at Roosevelt CCPA as a BFA Musical Theatre-Dance major, class of 2023. My D (BFA MT, also class of 2023) would agree with her assessment of her experience at CCPA!

I’ve been searching like crazy and talked to a lot of people but can’t seem to come to a consensus. While Roosevelt is in that great theater district, not many people know anything about them. Webster seems to have a great rep but it’s not in a great theatre town. But some say Roosevelt is the big up and comer but it was Webster that Richard Dreyfus and Michael York recently visited ...

Roosevelt, the main university separate from the conservatory, was established to give inner-city people an opportunity other than a community college, so no, ROOSEVELT is not the most highly esteemed school in Illinois and probably does have a pretty substantial drop rate.
Oklahoma City University, Roosevelt, and Millikin musical theatre. What are the biggest differences between the three? millikin-university-mt , oklahoma-city-university-mt , roosevelt-university-mt
Since there is no website showing all of the Performing Arts schools that audition over “Unified” weekends I thought I’d start a thread that can be updated and hopefully pinned for future reference. This is an initial list from my limited experience to be updated by the CC “hive mind”. I put only the basics so as to make this easy to read: School Name, Unified location, Is it an ...
For US schools, it’s regional accreditation that counts, rather than national accreditation. I would think that any ABET accredited engineering degree would be from a school that’s also regionally accredited, so the choice would boil down to choosing someone with an ABET accredited engineering degree vs. someone with an engineering degree that isn’t ABET accredited.
