Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital is a hospital part of Indiana University Health, in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is the largest hospital in the state of Indiana and one of only four regional Level I Trauma Centers in the state. It has 625 staffed beds and is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the area. In the 20th century, the main facility was located at 1001 West 10th Street and went through several name changes, including: Indianapolis General Hospital (1947); Marion County General Hospital (1959); and Wishard Memorial Hospital (1975).
