The Bryson Apartment Hotel is a historic 110,000-square-foot (10,000 m 2), ten-story apartment building on Wilshire Boulevard in the MacArthur Park section of Los Angeles, California. Built in 1913 in the Beaux Arts style, it was one of the most luxurious residential buildings in Los Angeles for many years.

Garden Court Apartments was designed by Frank Meline and built in 1916 [1] or 1917, [2] at the behest of J.E. Ransford. The complex was considered high luxury for its time, and featured tennis courts , ballrooms , a billiard room , and suites furnished with oriental carpets , oil paintings , and grand pianos .
The construction of the building was announced in a November 1927 article in the Los Angeles Times: "The Jardinette, a Class B apartment-house now under construction at Marathon street and Manhattan Place, is being erected on a site 71 by 130 feet. This house will contain forty-three apartments and will be built at an estimated cost of $225,000."
