Richway was the discount department store division of Atlanta-based Rich's. [1] It was originally part of Rich's, and was later bought by Federated Department Stores when they purchased the Rich's chain. [2] It was originally known as Richway, a Rich's Company with a more bluish logo than the later orange and black theme under Federated ownership.
The Cumberland Mall, Lenox Square, Northlake Mall, and Town Center Macy's remain open as of 2022. When the Cobb Center Mall store closed in 2004, the furniture clearance center was relocated to Town Center. In 1995, the downtown Atlanta Rich's 1924 store became part of the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center. It is known as "The 1924 Building".
Art Van Furniture – Founded in 1959 in Warren, MI, and operated over 300 stores and outlets in 7 states. On March 5, 2020, Art Van Furniture announced it would liquidate all of their company owned stores and file for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
