The Tholsel (Irish: Halla an Bhaile) [2] is a municipal building in West Street, Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland. Formerly the meeting place of Drogheda Borough Council, it is currently used as a tourist information office.
The M1 Dublin–Belfast motorway passes along the eastern edge of the town and is the main route to/from Dublin City, Drogheda, Dundalk, Newry and Belfast. The M50 Dublin semi-orbital motorway passes to the south of the town and provides connections with all of the other main roads out of Dublin (N2, N3, N4, N7, N81 and M11).
Dominick Street (Irish: Sráid Dhoiminic) is a street on the North side of Dublin city laid out by the physician Sir Christopher Dominick and further developed by his family after his death in 1743. The lands had originally been acquired by Dominick in 1709.
