The Clifton Cantonment (Urdu: کلفٹن چھاؤنی) is a cantonment town within the city of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. [2] [3] It serves as a military base and residential establishment. It was established by the British Indian Army during 19th century British India, and was taken over by the Pakistan Army in 1947.

The Cantonment Executive Officer Faisal Masood is the principal executive at the local level. The board normally decides and lays down policies, while the executive officer executes these policies. He is the chief exponent of the board’s policies. He acts as an adviser and is a permanent officer specially trained in local administration.
