Kuna (/ ˈ k j uː n ə / KYOO-nə) is a city in Ada County, Idaho. [2] It is part of the Boise metropolitan area.The population was 24,011 at the time of the 2020 census. [3]Kuna is one of the fastest-growing areas in Idaho, having nearly tripled in population between 2000 and 2010 and a nearly additional 60 percent gain between 2010 and 2020.
Banner Elk Hotel is a historic hotel building located at Banner Elk, Avery County, North Carolina. The original section of the hotel dates to about 1856, with expansions made between 1877 and 1891. Two-story rear wings and smaller additions were made between 1891 and 1898.
Eventually, the Banner family grew to 55 members, and the area where they lived became known as Banner's Elk. This name was later shortened to Banner Elk when the town was incorporated in 1911. [5] The Banner Elk Hotel and Robert Chester and Elsie H. Lowe House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [6] [7]
