(And I'll make that edit now.) Anyway, the reason why the other Sonic 2 article is at "8-bit video game" is because it was for both the Game Gear and the Master System. If moved, I would suggest as an alternative Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis game) or Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis game), since that was the most important platform by far.
