The Suri are an agro-pastoral people and inhabit part of the South western Ethiopia of West Omo Zone Suri woreda in Ethiopia,while the other groups live partly in neighbouring South Sudan. [3] The Suri population was 20,622 in 1998 (census est.) [ 3 ] and ca. 32,000 in 2016.
