Zero rust other than the rear diff a some surface on the frame. Back in the late-80's and early-90's, the Japanese made some ridiculously rust-resistant vehicles. There wasn't any exotic metallurgy involved - Just a fanatical obsession with getting everything plated, primed, painted and undercoated properly.
I was looking at a $85 bolt from maxim but AIM has complete 762x39 BCGs for $99. Get an actual 7.62x39 bolt. There is some difference and it will function better. Thats if you dont want to buy an entire 7.62x39 bcg. You can just use a USGI bolt carrier with a 7.62x39 bolt and extended firing pin. necessary.

Posted: 3/1/2024 3:02:42 PM EDT. [Last Edit: dump1567] [#2] I ordered a couple of spare MKE parts kits from Atlantic. It's also recommended to use real HK extractor springs. Although I have MKE mags, I just spend the extra $15-$20 or so and stick with HK factory. Lanbo's usually has good prices on Factory mags with a $10 flat rate shipping.
the KM tactical store is 10 minutes from my house.. I went in there one day and I can confirm it is all chinese junk. They also wouldn't tell me who supplies them with their parts. Their bcg werent even staked properly.. it was just made to look like it was staked.. if that makes sense. All the poors around here love it though.
