A VPN encrypts all your traffic as it leaves your computer, and also hides your IP. I've equally had problems connecting to some sites with some VPNs.
Our current VPN, Juniper Pulse, is a lot more stable than others we have used in the past. Still, it is pretty clumsy at times when web browsing and I don't care for it. I have personally owned a variety of Macs since 1985 and have never used a VPN on any of them and feel entirely secure in my on-line transactions.

That notification probably came from the website that you are on and using it to stream a movie. The website and the notifications are attempting to mislead you into buying something that you do not need. Axel F.
Dec 28, 2022 11:27 AM in response to silk176. To remove the VPN go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management, tap on VPN and then tap on and remove the VPN profile. And also delete Norton 360 before it does any real damage. For all practical purposes your iPhone cannot be hacked.
