  2. Carolina Basset Hound Rescue (CBHR) is a volunteer-staffed non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted basset hounds in North Carolina and South Carolina. CBHR is a fully recognized 501(c)3 organization.

  3. CBHR Bassets. All of our bassets are in search of loving, permanent homes. All CBHR dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and are heartworm negative or have been treated for heartworms before adoption.

  6. Fostering is a fun and rewarding experience; you get to watch a possibly scared, underweight, homeless hound blossom into a loving, affectionate, house pet that will become a treasured addition for any home. Knowing you helped a special hound find a home of his own is quite fulfilling.
