In 1970, the Eldorado featured the new Cadillac 500 V8 (8.2 L) V8 engine, putting out SAE gross 400 hp (298 kW) and 550 lb⋅ft (746 N⋅m). It was exclusive to the Eldorado until 1975, when it became the standard engine option for all Cadillac models except the Seville. [1]
The Cadillac CTS is a luxury car, manufactured and marketed by General Motors from 2003 until 2019 across three generations.. Initially available as a 4-door sedan using the GM Sigma platform, GM offered the second generation CTS in 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, and 5-door sport wagon, and the third generation as a sedan, using a stretched version of the GM Alpha platform.
The run of roomy two-door models lasted a few decades but, by the 1990s, something had changed. Today, it’s rare to see a two-door car that isn’t a performance model like the Mustang or Corvette.
