Stephen David Conway SCP (born 22 December 1957) is a British Anglican bishop. Since July 2023, he has served as the Bishop of Lincoln; he was previously Bishop of Ely and Bishop of Ramsbury (an area/suffragan bishop in the Diocese of Salisbury).

Anthony John Russell (born 25 January 1943) is a retired Anglican bishop. He was the Diocesan Bishop of Ely from 2000 to 2010, having previously served as an area bishop in the Diocese of Oxford from 1988.
The diocesan Bishop of Ely (vacant) is assisted by a Bishop suffragan of Huntingdon (Dagmar Winter). There are also four retired bishops living in the diocese who are licensed as honorary assistant bishops: 2011–present: Lindsay Urwin. Former Area Bishop of Horsham. [4] At present, he is a parish priest in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. [5]
He became successively Bishop of Bristol in 1737, Bishop of Norwich in 1738, and Bishop of Ely in 1747. In 1751 he inherited the title of baronet from his brother Sir William Gooch, 1st Baronet. [2] Gooch's first wife was Mary Sherlock, daughter of William Sherlock. They had a son, Sir Thomas Gooch, 3rd Baronet of Benacre. [4]
After various other clerical appointments, Turton was Dean of Peterborough from 1830 to 1842, Dean of Westminster from 1842 to 1845 and Bishop of Ely from 1845 to 1864. He is buried at Kensal Green Cemetery .
He was born in Norwich, and educated at Norwich School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where he graduated B.A. in 1679 and became a Fellow in 1680. [1] He was Master of Corpus from 1698 to 1716, clashing with Robert Moss, and Vice-chancellor of the University of Cambridge, in 1699 and 1713.
