Monmouthshire Houses: A Study of Building Techniques and Smaller House-Plans in the Fifteenth to Seventeenth Centuries is a study of buildings within the county of Monmouthshire written by Sir Cyril Fox and Lord Raglan and published by the National Museum of Wales.
In the early 1700s, the house was significantly expanded. Sir Cyril Fox and Lord Raglan, in their three-volume study, Monmouthshire Houses, date the rebuilding to 1700–1714. [3] Passing through a number of owners from the 18th to the 21st centuries, the manor remains privately owned and serves as the farmhouse for a working estate.
Cefntilla Court, (also Cefn Tilla), Llandenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, is a country house dating from the mid-19th century.Its origins date from 1616. During the English Civil War, the court was the headquarters of Thomas Fairfax during the siege of Raglan Castle and the terms of the castle's surrender were signed at the house in 1646.

[2] The rebuilding was undertaken by Issac Williams, [1] whom Sir Joseph Bradney, the Monmouthshire antiquarian, records as the first known owner of the house. [3]
