Pacific Design Center. The Pacific Design Center, or PDC, is a 1,600,000-square-foot (150,000 m 2) multi-use facility for the design community in West Hollywood, California. One of the buildings is often described as the Blue Whale because of its large size relative to surrounding buildings and its brilliant blue glass cladding.
The Blue Whale was a jazz club located on the top floor of Weller Plaza in downtown Los Angeles. [1] The club was opened in 2009 by jazz vocalist Joon Lee [1] [2] and regularly featured regional and internationally acclaimed jazz artists. [3] It was announced on December 31, 2020 that the club has been permanently closed.
