Melville "Mel" Spence (2 January 1936 – 28 October 2012) [1] was a Jamaican sprinter who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics and in the 1964 Summer Olympics. He is the twin brother of Mal Spence , an Olympic sprint medalist.

The Men's 10 metre air pistol event at the 2012 Olympic Games took place on 28 July 2012 at the Royal Artillery Barracks. The event consisted of two rounds: a qualifier and a final. In the qualifier, each shooter fired 60 shots with an air pistol at 10 metres distance.
