Force Five is an American adaptation of five different anime television series. In the United States , this series was primarily shown only in New England , Pennsylvania , and Virginia , though it did make brief appearances in other markets, such as Texas , and Northern California on KICU-TV 36 .
Planetary Robot Danguard Ace (惑星ロボ ダンガード A （ エース ）, Wakusei Robo Dangādo Ēsu) is a Japanese science fiction anime series created by Leiji Matsumoto with Dan Kobayashi. Danguard Ace was Matsumoto's only contribution to the mecha genre.
In the late 1990s the whole series was released in Italy in dubbed DVD boxes. Two episodes from Jim Terry's Force Five Gaiking series would be redubbed as an episode of Robo Formers. Discotek Media acquired the rights for the entire television series and released it in a complete box set, in Japanese with English subtitles, in June 2016.
