The Bar Harbor Inn is an inn in Bar Harbor, Maine. It was built in 1887, and has been an inn since 1950. The inn has accommodations in the main building, [2] Oceanfront Lodge [3] and The Newport. [4] It has two restaurants: the Reading Room [5] and (in the high season only) the Terrace Grille. [6]
The inn has been owned by the Asti-Kim Corporation since 1965 and, between 2015 and 2019, was managed by the Acadia Corporation. [1] Tim Harrington's Kennebunkport Resort Collection, which also owns the Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor, became the current managers of the inn in 2023. [2]
