The train is attacked by one of Muzan's lower liutenants, who is eventually defeated by the group, but not without derailing the train. In the wreckage, an injured Rengoku is attacked by Akaza, Muzan's 3rd highest lieutenant. Despite a fierce battle, Rengoku is impaled and dies shortly after, with Akaza escaping before sunlight vaporizers him.
