Silence (also Project Hard), is a 45-metre (148 ft) severely overhanging sport climbing route in the granite Hanshelleren Cave in Flatanger Municipality, Norway.When Czech climber Adam Ondra made the first free ascent on 3 September 2017, it became the first rock climb in the world to have a proposed climbing grade of 9c (5.15d), and it is an important route in rock climbing history.
In addition, boulder routes that connected various boulder problems into a single longer bouldering route have been graded as if they were sport climbs. Burden of Dreams is a 4-metre (13 ft) red granite grade 9A (V17) bouldering problem at Lappnor near Loviisa, in Finland.It was first climbed by Finnish climber Nalle Hukkataival on 23 October 2016, who spent four years projecting the boulder, [3] and features in the 2017 climbing film, The Lappnor Project.
The following January, Robinson claimed the second ascent of Terremer, a V15 boulder in Hueco Tanks, Texas. The problem was established by Swiss climber Fred Nicole two years earlier. At the time, it was regarded as the most challenging problem at Hueco Tanks, and Robinson described it as "the hardest boulder I have ever done so far." [9]
The boulder is set in a sea cave on the shore of Devon. Timing an ascent is difficult, because the sea washes into the cave every day, coating the rock in salty gunk, and the wind and weather conditions have to be ideal for an ascent. The problem starts at the back of the cave, in a crack in the roof.

The Mandala is a 6-metre (20 ft) high granite bouldering route in the Buttermilks, a popular bouldering area near Bishop, California.Considered a "next generation" problem in the 1970s, the route was first solved by American climber Chris Sharma in February 2000.
