In 1986 King Tonga became a star by body slamming Big John Studd on Championship Wrestling , though predictably Studd's manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan did not pay him the US$ 15,000 he promised to anyone who could do so.

Damage CTRL (pronounced "Damage Control") is a professional wrestling stable that performs in WWE on the Raw brand consisting of Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane and Asuka.The stable have held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship three times, with Kai and Sky being two-time champions and Asuka and Sane (known as The Kabuki Warriors) being one-time champions.

Halac wrestled his first two matches as Bruiser Mastino, defeating Nikolai Volkoff on August 25 and 26, 1994, at house shows. A few months later on the January 7, 1995, episode of Superstars of Wrestling (taped on December 10, 1994), Halac debuted in the World Wrestling Federation as Mantaur, defeating Walter Slow.
A-Train was traded to the Raw brand on March 22 before making his official Raw debut on June 7, losing to Chris Jericho. His last match was a loss to Val Venis on Heat .
