Tinambac, officially the Municipality of Tinambac (Central Bikol: Banwaan kan Tinambac; Tagalog: Bayan ng Tinambac), is a municipality in the province of Camarines Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 70,176 people.
It was converted into San Jose Fisheries School pursuant to Batas Pambansa Blg. 406 approved on June 10, 1983, with its new status as a national vocational school. SJFS would later on become the PSU-Salogon Campus. In 1977, another barangay high school within the term of Mayor Pacamarra was born in the town of San Jose, Camarines Sur.

It was an intermediate school offering agricultural courses for boys and was known as Camarines Agricultural School (CAS). In 1923, Victor Oblifis became the superintendent. CAS changed into a national secondary under the name Camarines Agricultural High School (CAHS). In 1928, William Pickell became superintendent, serving for two years.
The district consists of municipalities in the Partido region of eastern Camarines Sur, namely Caramoan, Garchitorena, Goa, Lagonoy, Presentacion, Sagñay, San Jose, Siruma, Tigaon and Tinambac. [4] [5] It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Arnulf Bryan Fuentebella of the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC). [6]
