Mid Suffolk is a local government district in Suffolk, England. The district is primarily a rural area, containing just three towns, being Stowmarket , Needham Market and Eye . Its council was based in Needham Market until 2017 when it moved to shared offices with neighbouring Babergh District Council in Ipswich , outside either district.
Effective January 1, 1850, Bathurst District was abolished, and the "United Counties of Lanark and Renfrew" replaced it for municipal and judicial purposes. [4] The counties remained united for electoral purposes in the Parliament of the Province of Canada, referred to as the County of Lanark, [5] until Renfrew gained its own seat in 1853.

Renfrew is a town on the Bonnechere River in Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Located one hour west of Ottawa in Eastern Ontario, Renfrew is the fourth largest town in the county after Petawawa, Pembroke and Arnprior. The town is a small transportation hub connecting Highway 60 and Highway 132 with the Trans-Canada Highway.
Brome and Oakley is a civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of the English county of Suffolk. The parish is in the north of the county, immediately south of the River Waveney which marks the border with Norfolk. It lies 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Eye and 3 miles (4.8 km) south-east of Diss.
