    I've seen "pulldown list" frequently used to describe the same thing. Google returns 15,400,000 results for "drop-down list", but there are also 1,780,000 results for "pulldown list". Dropdown menu is sometimes used interchangeably as well although in web this can sometimes mean a flyout javascript style menu.
