Bubbie (voiced by Roz Ryan) is an anthropomorphic whale. She is Flapjack's adoptive mother; she found him at sea in a bed of seaweed when he was a baby. Knuckles and Flapjack live inside her mouth, and she serves as their transportation as well as home. Bubbie disapproves of Flapjack's adventures, and she views K'nuckles as a bad influence on him.
The Whalers is a cartoon produced by Walt Disney Productions, released by RKO Radio Pictures on August 19, 1938, and featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. The short was directed by Dick Huemer. It featured the voices of Clarence 'Ducky' Nash as Donald Duck and Pinto Colvig as Goofy. Mickey does not speak in this short.
Dil is a female "big-mouthed bellydragger" (Deinosuchus), while Ichy is a male "sharp beak" (Ichthyornis). They pursue Littlefoot and his friends throughout the film, but often quarrel among themselves, partly because of the lack of food and partly because Dil is very nearsighted. Dil is voiced by Tress MacNeille and Ichy by Jeff Bennett.
