The Perry County Courthouse is a historic government building in the city of New Lexington, Ohio, United States. Built near the end of the nineteenth century after the end of a county seat war , it is the fifth courthouse to serve Perry County , and it has been named a historic site because of its imposing architecture.
Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected township fiscal officer, [ 5 ] who serves a four-year term beginning on April 1 of the year after the election, which is held in November of the year before the presidential election.

State Route 256 (SR 256) is a 25.99-mile (41.83 km) east–west state highway in the central portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The western terminus of SR 256 is at a T-intersection with U.S. Route 40 (US 40) in Reynoldsburg. Its eastern terminus is at a T-intersection with SR 13 approximately 5.50 miles (8.85 km) west-northwest of Somerset.

Somerset is a village in Perry County, Ohio, United States. The population as of the 2020 census was 1,481. It is located 9.5 miles north of the county seat New Lexington and has a dedicated historical district. Saint Joseph Church, the oldest Catholic church in Ohio, is located just outside Somerset on State Route 383.
