A fusible alloy is a metal alloy capable of being easily fused, i.e. easily meltable, at relatively low temperatures. Fusible alloys are commonly, but not necessarily, eutectic alloys. Sometimes the term "fusible alloy" is used to describe alloys with a melting point below 183 °C (361 °F; 456 K). Fusible alloys in this sense are used for solder.
The trend of using nonwoven fabric for (glued/fused) interfacing started with Pellon (a trademark). Why is it not mentioned? Besides, there should a Wikilink pointing to some article called "fused canvas". There is a floating canvas article, though, which is not fused but sewn (completely or, partially).

Sewing patterns specify if interfacing is needed, the weight of interfacing that is required, and the amount. Some patterns use the same fabric as the garment to create an interfacing, as with sheer fabrics. [2] Interfacing has three main 'types': woven, non-woven and knit. Each is designed to behave differently.
An electrical fusible link is a type of electrical fuse that is constructed simply with a short piece of wire typically four American wire gauge (AWG) sizes smaller than the wire that is being protected. For example, an AWG 16 fusible link might be used to protect AWG 12 wiring.
