K 2 is both a tissue and bacterial product (derived from vitamin K 1 in both cases) and is usually found in animal products or fermented foods .

As a result, Gla-residues are inadequately formed and the Gla-proteins are insufficiently active.
If you do have to take zinc per doctors orders, don't take more than the daily recommendation, which is 8 mg/day for women and 11 mg/day for men. Too much zinc can cause some serious side effects.
