Clearfield High School is a secondary school in Clearfield, Utah, United States. It is part of the Davis School District. The school's mascot is the peregrine falcon, and its colors are green and white with an accent of gold. Mackie was born on May 1, 1894, in Gazaam in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Dickinson Seminary in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. [1] Mackie played football for Dickinson Seminary in 1913. [2] Mackie served in the United States Navy as an ensign during World War I. [3]
He was a delegate to Democratic National Convention in 1952. [2] In 1953, he was elected to the position of district attorney of Clearfield County. [2] He was the United States attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 1961 to 1963, and a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate from 1970 to 1977.
