Meredith Sue Hodges (née Schulz; born February 5, 1950) is an American equine trainer, competitor, educator, author and TV personality specializing in mules and donkeys, specifically the contemporary saddle mule.
The Shed's CEO is Meredith "Max" Hodges [1] and the Artistic Director is Alex Poots. The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Jonathan Tisch, who succeeded founding Chairman Daniel Doctoroff in 2022. Construction on the Shed started in 2015, using a design from lead architect Diller Scofidio + Renfro and collaborating architect Rockwell Group.
He has four siblings, including half sister Meredith Hodges. He moved with his family to Sebastopol, California, in 1958, and later to Santa Rosa, California, in 1969. [2] [3] In 1971, Schulz became a motocross racer, and competed in hundreds of races across the United States.
In April 1951, Schulz married Joyce Halverson (no relation to Schulz's mother Dena Halverson Schulz), [43] and Schulz adopted Halverson's daughter, Meredith Hodges. Later the same year, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Their son, Monte, was born in February 1952, and three more children, Craig, Amy and Jill, were born later in Minnesota.
