Rila is a mountain range in south-western Bulgaria, part of the Rila–Rhodope Massif. [3] It is situated between five valleys – Dupnitsa Valley to the north-west, Samokov Valley to the north, Kostenets–Dolna Banya Valley to the north-east, Razlog Valley to the south and Blagoevgrad Valley to the south-west.

Rila National Park (Bulgarian: Национален парк „Рила“) is the largest national park in Bulgaria spanning an area of 810.46 km 2 (312.92 sq mi; 200,270 acres) in the Rila mountain range in the south-west of the country.
Damga (Bulgarian: Дамга) is a summit in the northwestern part of the Rila Mountain in southwestern Bulgaria reaching height of 2,669 m. [1] Damga is the main orographic node of northwestern Rila, connecting the ridges of Malyovitsa and Otovitsa. The peak is an impressive massif with mostly dome-shaped outlines.
Marishki Chal (Bulgarian: Маришки чал) is a summit in the eastern part of the Rila mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria reaching height of 2,765 m. [1] [2] It is located in Rila National Park. The summit is built up of granite. [1]
Orlovets (Bulgarian: Орловец) is a summit in the northwestern part of the Rila mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria reaching height of 2,686 m. It is located on the boundary between Rila National Park and Rila Monastery Nature Park, to the east of the major summit of Malyovitsa (2,729 m).
Bezimennia Vrah (Bulgarian: Безименния връх, meaning "the Nameless Summit"), is a summit in eastern Rila mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria. [1] Reaching a height of 2,798 m, it is the fourth highest summit in the mountain range behind Musala (2,925 m), Malka Musala (2,902 m) and Irechek (2,852 m).
